Update

I finally updated the website (Projects now reflect most recent grants). Sorry I am so slow. My parents have sent me so many, many messages reminding me to update the website, please update the website, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE UPDATE THE WEBSITE?!

I put it off for about a year (okay, maybe two …) and it took me 5 minutes. And if you knew Steve, you would know that was a very Steve thing to do. Ha!

Thank you.

2020 Grants

2020 was a blur of a year and yet somehow the longest year ever. I know that if Steve were around, we would have had numerous intense political and social discussions about the events that exploded throughout 2020 (and into 2021). Of course, he would have infused each of his points with data and wit so that the conversation would be both serious and silly. I don’t know how he always knew everything, but he did. I was in awe of him. I still am.

The SNW Foundation provided grants to five organizations in 2020: Alameda Food Bank, 826 Valencia, San Francisco Free Clinic, Little Kids Rock, and Albany Ultimate Disc Association (AUDA). Please see the Projects page for additional information about each organization

We don’t post frequently, but the Foundation — and our purpose — continues. Always.

Thank you for your continued support.

We were recently going through some old stuff and I came across what must have been one of the first Exit Ocean flyers ever created! Steve loved music - if you have a chance, you can listen to his old band here: Exit Ocean. (scroll down the page)
